Who, Where and When and Do We Play?
The East Bay Panthers play other AAU-affiliated teams within the
Pacific District of the Amateur Athletic Union. Tournaments
are mostly in Northern California, primarily in the greater San
Francisco Bay Area. However, our teams occasionally travel to other
states.
Our training program begins in early March and competitive tournament
play begins late March or early April. Our season concludes around
mid-June. Tournaments are conducted
on weekends and typically require play twice on Saturdays and once
on Sundays.

How to Apply
Complete and return the application and questionnaire available
via the links below before the date specified.
Early registration is encouraged. It gives our coaches the opportunity
to view players during the winter basketball season and to have
discussions with parents about their child's athletic experience,
talent and level of commitment to the sport. It also provides coaches
the opportunity to discuss the level of participation and support
that will be required of a participating family. We strongly recommend
you apply early and contact us to have these discussions.
Enclose a check made payable to the East Bay Panthers for the amount
specified. This cover processing and gym costs for the tryouts.
We will acknowledge receipt of your application.
Player Scholarship Program
Our Player Scholarship Program has
been created to enable players to acquire financing to fund
their participation in the East Bay Panthers girls' basketball
program. Our program provides direct financial resources and
creates incentives for the acquisition of additional funding.
Here's how it can work for your family:
- The East Bay Panthers can provide up to $400 of direct
funding for your daughter's program tuition.
- The Panthers can arrange special tuition payment schedules
to diminish the impact of tuition cost on family cash flow.
- The Panthers will accept direct tax-deductible contributions
to the club that are specifically committed to support a
participating player.
These contributions will diminish
the cost to the player for whom they are committed and earn
the contributing party sponsorship recognition on our web
site and in any promotional material we distribute (if they
wish to be recognized). The Panthers will provide a receipt
to acknowledge the donation, which the contributing party
may use for tax reporting purposes.
